Scopes House is a contemporary addition to an existing traditional Omaha seaside bach that has served the family well for many years. The addition has been designed in sharp contrast to the standard group house existing building. The floor has been elevated as high as possible so that the flat roof fits below the stringent height rules set down when the beach-side subdivision was created.
